Luncheon at the Hudson

June 11, 2009. The first day the NYC Silver Sisters Event would have happened, barring a bad economy. But something did happen. A small luncheon to thank all the wonderful women who volunteered to participate or attend. We all gathered at the Hudson in a kind of “mini meet,” and had a fabulous time. People came from far and wide.

Jade Jordan, Teresa Morisco, and Yasmina flew in from California. Helen Gibbons, Dawn Murphy and Sue Shimeall came from Massachusetts. Nadine Duke came from as close as New Jersey, and the rest of us New Yorkers gathered ‘round (Sue Phillips, from Scenterprises, Anne Kreamer, Cindy Joseph, Chazz, and OZ.)

Unfortunately, Chazz could only stay a few minutes. But, like a trouper, she made the rounds, spoke to everybody, not knowing at the time that she had a herniated disc. All she knew was that she was in terrible pain. So we all send her our best “get well’s” and we’ll catch her next time!

But what a spirited group it was! Yasmina, who takes wonderful pictures, turned into the official party photographer, all the while sharing “model secrets” on how to pose for the camera. My personal fave? Touch the tip of your tongue to your palette, if you have to hold a smile for a long time. Believe it or not, we all tried it in some of the shots!

Cindy shared her modeling experiences and news of an upcoming cosmetics’ line – Boom! By Cindy Joseph. Be watching for it. Sounds light, dewy, and natural. As a former makeup artist, she’s the gal who can do it. Teresa, our wardrobe911.com stylist, gave lots of fashion, color and body-type tips. Sue Phillips talked about the custom blended fragrance offered as a prize, and told us she is touring the country holding events for women to learn more about fragrance and have one whipped up just for them. Next stop, California. And Anne Kreamer provided great insight into the silver revolution, as well as news of an upcoming book, which has a looming deadline. Be watching for that, too, due out sometime in 2010.

The conversation just didn’t stop – important conversation about how silver hair is perceived, how it should be perceived, how women have been committed to coloring since the early 1950’s. You know we all had strong opinions.

Here are just a few shots from a lovely afternoon. Next time, y’all come!

Helen Gibbons chats with Cindy Joseph.

Jade Jordon in a shiny, silvery moment.

Yasmina looked ravishing, as usual. And, yes, models do eat dessert! Notice the importance of wearing bright white – it really sets up your look, iced with silvery accessories.

And Cindy, as always, was the epitome of natural beauty! Notice, she’s wearing brown, playing it off white, for all of you who think you have to throw your brown clothes away! Not so.

Group photo time! Missing, Anne Kreamer who had to dash back to her new book. See all the pretty shades of silver?

Our “token” blonde, Sue Phillips of Scenterprises, took a little kidding. Will she “convert?”

Meanwhile, Teresa Morisco, of Wardrobe 911.com, dispensed fabulous fashion advice.

Cindy and Yasmina – models and friends forever!

OZ. . . and ahhhhhhs!

With a crash course in posing, all the gals were ready for their close-up! Here, everyone gets a turn in the “queen’s chair.” Now, remember, all this was done in a very dark room with just the barest natural lighting. . .

Teresa Morisco

Dawn Murphy

Helen Gibbons

Jade Jordan

Nadine Duke

Sue Shimeall

Yasmina Rossi

Cindy Joseph

And that’s how it’s done. Simple, no?

Dawn just sent in some fun behind-the-scenes shots. Take a look.

The Silver Paparazzi line up for a shoot.

Cindy and Yasmina kindly posed.

And then gave tips to every girl. Chin up, turn slightly, look right at the camera.

I love waking up each morning, pouring myself a coffee and logging on to GGLG to catch up on all the latest “happenings!” This morning was the best by far!!  What a lovely, heartwarming surprise Diana.  The photos are exquisite and the smiles say it all!  I will return to this page over and over again! smile

Ahh...just lovely! And ladies from GGLG you look b-e-a-utiful.  Thank you for sharing Diana! It makes me even more determined to REALLY build momentum for future events!!

Posted by Goldie on 06/14 at 05:44 AM

i don’t see a GHOL in the bunch!!!!!!
wink

Posted by louann on 06/14 at 06:27 AM

Not a one! Gotta tell you, our hair (in all of its shades) really lit up that dark room. And in no time, some of the Hudson people came around and pointed out the silver hairs they had. Even a waiter talked about how his beard is silver! Everyone was sharing in the story, and wanting to know more.

Those of you who have gone silver have experienced reactions like this. People are drawn to you. You always make an impact, wherever you go. If you don’t think of yourself as a GHOL! Work it, everybody! cheese

Dear Diana,

You are the consummate hostess! Thank you for bringing us together. This was only a ‘glimpse’ of what would have been at the conference yet I must say in the 4 hours (yes 4 hours) we spent over lunch I was amazed at what we shared, learned and enjoyed!  Kudos Oz! Fantastic!

Please....may we have another? As for the rest of the Jewell 11...a toast to all of you! Loved every moment!

Posted by joan dark on 06/14 at 05:48 PM

hi all~ I have to share some of my thoughts in being lucky enough to attend.  Also, honestly I was “starstruck”.
I flew in from Boston on Thursday morning, figured out the train to get from JFK to “the city” (as those of us who grow up on Long Island call it).  I was home in Boston by 830pm and smiled the entire night and next day (and not because the RedSox beat the Yankees repeatedly- but I digress).

Once I got there, I found the very chic and funky Hudson Hotel~ at least I thought it was~ I wasn’t sure until I made my way up escalators framed within frosted pale green glass.
The place was gorgeous with an open terrace in the center~ dark wood~ hidden restrooms with the most giant doors that made me feel like Alice in Wonderland(or maybe Dorothy in Oz)

As I looked around to find the restaurant, I walked around the corner.  There she was walking toward me~ a vision radiant in a stylish white jacket and tones of silver and white.  Sort of like a petite guardian angel- minus the wings.

I so very smoothly blurted out- “Diana Jewell!” (how slick, huh?). To my delight and surprise, she recognized me immediately with a hug.
Our Oz is a dynamo, a determined step, eyes straight ahead but with a dancer’s grace...She had come early to make sure the place was ready for us, finished up details down to namecards, introduced herself to the staff she coordinated with and greeted each of us warmly as one by one we arrived.

I had written to her that I felt like I was getting to sit with the “cool kids"-- at my age, this doesn’t happen often.  She assured me that everyone coming were sweet and friendly~ and of course, as usual, she was correct smile

Her colleagues who had planned to assist with the original event were so friendly.  They provided informal, mini-consults during the luncheon. All this over the most leisurely, intimate, relaxing lunch I’ve had in years~ amazing, especially since I had never met these folks in person.  The company, the venue and the menu were perfect!  When was the last time you had a four hour lunch?

It was lovely meeting Teresa (who taught me not to refer to my body shape as fruit!); Sue, who shared the art of developing fragrances; and the incredible Anne Kreamer (the author of “the other gray book") who provides the history helping us understand how we are molded by our society, media and advertising.

As “the models” arrived, I was officially “starstruck” when I realized that I recognized them.
I recovered fairly quickly because they were so warm and welcoming. Poor Chazz was on her way to the MD, but went around and introduced herself to each of the gglg’ers there.  Even in the pain she must have been in, she was so gracious and was apologizing for not being able to stay…

Cindy and Yasmina are so down-to-earth, sincere, smart, funny, thoughtful and joyful- in addition to being incredibly physically beautiful.  They shared stories of the hard work of the modeling industry. They work to keep true to themselves in the face of industry pressure and love their jobs,at the same time.  Their real beauty truly shines from within.

Yasmina took a bunch of photos, Cindy gave us tips on how to pose (which I used the next day at my daughter’s graduation! instant application of a new skill! very cool)

We all shared stories of our lives, future projects, positive and negative reactions from family, friends, clients and co-workers about hair color. And we agreed that together we represent the vangard coming to the marketplace. Designers, marketers and the media -(yo, Oprah!)- just need to catch up with us or they’ll miss the bus.

So, I got over being starstruck (until I saw my pic with Cindy on the homepage! sort of a flashback but I’m better now)

anyway- EVERYONE needs to get on board for a future event! Thanks so much Diana for bringing us all together in such a beautiful place and making each of us feel comfortable together and special as individuals!

take care from one of the Jewell 11 - Helen (thisyear)

p.s- love the term, Jewell 11 Dawn!

Posted by Thisyear on 06/14 at 07:43 PM

What lovely comments, Dawn and Helen. Aw, I’m blushing. red face “Guardian angel without wings?” On second thought, I’m giggling. LOL I’m just glad you both enjoyed yourselves—that’s what it was all about. Just friends getting together. Yes, an event would have been more formal, but this was just a relaxing lunch. You did get a taste of the wealth of information these women had to offer, and maybe some day, everybody can come learn how to be the best silver-haired beauties they can be. But, of course, that all depends. . . because the power to make that happen is in all of your hands. I can’t do it with too few, but I’d love to do it with too many!

Thank you again for your kind words. Much love, OZ.

This looks like so much fun and the photos are gorgeous - what beautiful women, beautiful hair.
I always wondered ‘does Diana know Anne Kreamer?’ ‘what would happen if they had a ‘silver summit meeting?’ (with all the other powerhouses of the silver fashion and style revolution) - now I know! Thank you! grin

Posted by silverlake on 06/15 at 01:46 AM

I was also very lucky to attend the luncheon and have the pleasure of meeting and spending an unbelievable four hours with everyone. Helen, you summed it up so beautifully there is nothing more that I can or need to add. Thank you again Diana and I hope we ALL can be together one day.

Teresa just covered the luncheon on her Wardrobe911.com blog. Cool insights, including the provocative question: “Do Blondes Have More Fun?” I think we can all answer that one!

OMG—we had so much fun, didn’t we? It was great meeting Diana finally in person and finally putting a face to some of the names here!  Helen, Dawn, Sue, Jade, Nadine. You all had such beautiful manes of silver, platinum, white.

And Cindy, I am so excited to try out your new cosmetic line and tell the world. Please keep us posted! It truly is a revolution and we have you gals at the forefront to thank.

I am so sorry to have missed the fabulous lunch. I had the opportunity to join friends in Tuscany so jumped at it.
Diana, you were great to organize it. Please let me know when you and I can go to lunch. I would love to meet you.

Maye,

I had a chance to read about you when Diana was organizing the event.  What a great work you do! Thank you!

Posted by Goldie on 06/17 at 08:38 AM

Hi Maye --
You were introduced “in absentia” anyway! Then I told them you had to dash off to Italy, and believe me, we all understood! Yes, we should get together for lunch.  I’ll send you an email and we’ll work out a date.  Welcome home!

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/17 at 01:17 PM

I’m so impressed. You all look absolutely lovely! Truly an inspirations to all of us.

Cindy, I’m looking forward to your new cosmetic line! cool smile

Posted by kim on 06/17 at 02:38 PM

Diana, What a fun lunch meeting! You all look lovely, and so happy! It is remarkable how this site has helped so many women feel good about being who we really are. I know I have laughed through out the process, and have really enjoyed meeting new instant friends.

I have to say that I am glad the big event was canceled. I would not have been able to go, and you had said it would be once in a lifetime event, so I am glad for the opportunity to go to a new “once in a lifetime” event. Plan it soon, and count me in!

I am getting ready to move to Florida and face a new hair challenge: humidity. I will have to go read all the sections about products again, and make all the necessary adjustments. New products, yay!

Thankyou so much for sharing,You all look so beautiful.Mother nature knows what is best!!!!

Posted by new york on 06/17 at 04:55 PM

Hey, AnaB, I’d love to count you in! But things come up in all of our lives (we’re such busy women!), so scheduling something like this becomes a jigsaw puzzle. I bet I’d get 12 different answers if I asked people to pick a month right now. Maybe I will!  OK, if you all could pick any month for an event, which would it be?  Poll officially starting. . .

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/17 at 07:07 PM

Okay, I pick July. (after the 4th, of course)

Posted by Goldie on 06/17 at 07:58 PM

One vote for July! Anybody else?

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/17 at 08:04 PM

hmmm… October…

Posted by Thisyear on 06/17 at 09:45 PM

October is really nice - provided its not during my work conference...because I would NOT want to miss this for the world.

Any good weather month as in free of snow and ice works for me!

Posted by morningstar on 06/18 at 02:04 AM

New York in October is just lovely - cool and crisp and no humidity so all our hair should look great! The beginning of November is nice too but once you get toward the middle of the month I’m sure it will be a difficult time for many to get away with the holidays fast approaching. If you are looking at 2010, then April or May is nice - not too hot or humid yet. I agree with Dawn, you want to avoid all the bad weather months and March can still by iffy as far as snow. Sorry, Diana, that I didn’t really narrow it down to one month!

Nadine

Posted by lookingrayt on 06/18 at 04:24 AM

Oh yes, October is super in New York. But think about it. Families with children are getting involved in their school activities, lessons, games, rehearsals. The freedom that comes “when the kids go back to school” can be short-lived. Then, of course, when ARE those business conferences? Pick the wrong week and you’re sunk. November and December, absolutely out. We all get too frazzled during the holidays. July is good, too, but that gets into family vacation time. August, too hot. Winter, scratch that. April and May, too soon. Weather can be iffy and cool.

The point about planning anything, really narrowing it down to a specific date, is that it’s a crapshoot. People have to want to come, make it priority “me time,” and actually hold that date or dates open. So, I’ll be happy to consider either July or October. But need to hear from all of you. Otherwise, I tell ya, it’s like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown.

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/18 at 05:05 AM

Hee—I meant July or October 2010! Nothing’s going to happen this year! LOL We’re all still stuck in the same economy.

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/18 at 05:11 AM

Then I vote for July 2010 - October 2010 is just so far away! And my hair will be fully transitioned and long by July - yeah!

Nadine

Posted by lookingrayt on 06/18 at 05:18 AM

weather is always a consideration...but late sept early oct ??? is that sooo bad???
of course weather isn’t too much of an issue on MY SIDE OF THE COUNTRY ... now that i have all this “confidence” with this lovely gray hair of mine i thought couldn’t hurt to ask!!! tongue laugh

Posted by louann on 06/18 at 05:24 AM

No, we’re saying late September and early October are glorious. But that there are other considerations with kids in school.

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/18 at 05:34 AM

yea i know ...kids...for me it was always a bit easier to “pawn” them off on someone else when they did have a schedule… then no one really had to figure out what to do with them...of course in all honesty we never really took off anywhere except for a 10 day carribean cruise i won at a charity event! and i kept thinking “i can’t do this” but we did and had a blast…
but even now we are trying to plan 4 days to hawaii without kids… it is almost scarier to leave the 18 yr old behind with his 23 year old brother in charge excaim  well that is where the 27 yr old daughter comes into play i guess cool smirk

remember “life is what happens while we’re making plans”..

Posted by louann on 06/18 at 05:41 AM

I vote for late September or early October.  Sounds absolutely lovely!

louann~ right you are.  I think it was easier on the mind to leave them when they were small and an “adult” was in charge. But, it could be a good learning experience for the 18 and 23 year old too.  Maybe with the 27 y o “checking in” occassionally.  Hmmmmmmmmm

Posted by Aziza on 06/18 at 06:11 AM

I like the new photos, thanks Dawn!  “You can’t please all of the people all of the time.” It IS like a crapshoot that is for sure.  I would vote for September, my favourite time of the year!  Being retired with grown children with families of their own makes picking a time easy, it’s just being able to swing it financially that makes it tough on me.  We just need the economy to cooperate so lets think positively!!

Posted by lulubell on 06/18 at 06:43 AM

Exactly where I am at too, lulubell.  When do you leave to go see your family?  Are you all packed?

Posted by Aziza on 06/18 at 06:56 AM

Where are the new photos?  I’m looking and can’t find any.........

Posted by Aziza on 06/18 at 07:03 AM

Hi Aziza, the photos are at the top of this page, Diana must have “just” added them.  They just follow the previous pics. wink We awoke to heavy rain and fog this morning so we will leave later today or most likely tomorrow morning.  We have a 40 foot motor-home and tow a small car so we would prefer dry conditions for safety purposes!  I am all packed so this is a “free” day!!! (so far)

Posted by lulubell on 06/18 at 07:08 AM

Gotcha!  I just scrolled down quickly to read the post.  My bad.  Sorry to hear about the weather delay.  Good choice to wait it out.  Better safe than sorry.  An unexpected free day is always nice though.  Maybe find something really relaxing to do so that when you do get there you are energized to play with those kiddies.  wink And kitty!  Whatever you do decide on, hope it’s a great day for you!

Posted by Aziza on 06/18 at 07:30 AM

Dawn~ Thanks for sending in more photos!  We DO love photos!  I especially love candid shots.  grin

Posted by Aziza on 06/18 at 07:32 AM

For anyone else having trouble seeing them, actually, they are the final shots in the article, and sometimes you have to hit the refresh button at the very top of your browser page. You know—the one that looks like a circular arrow? Sometimes, computers remember the “old” page. Whatta memory!

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/18 at 07:36 AM

Hmmm..thinking about event planning…

What if we (not just Diana) planned something to bring her to the West Coast?

Aren’t Cindy, Yasmina & Teresa all on the West Coast?

Posted by Goldie on 06/18 at 08:35 AM

Nope, Cindy isn’t. But ya never know. . . wink

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/18 at 09:15 AM

Well, if Cindy is in your neck of the woods, then we could fly you both to the Wild West!

There are so many GGLGer’s in California, maybe that would be the logical place to have an event.

Hmmm....

Posted by Goldie on 06/18 at 09:22 AM

I, for one, would totally vote for a west coast event!!!  Don’t know when or if I will make it to NYC as much as I would love to!  If there were something here I would be there for sure!!

Posted by grayincali on 06/18 at 09:59 AM

AHHH C’MON pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
tongue laugh

Posted by louann on 06/18 at 01:49 PM

West Coast could work too:-) If some of us pitch in and help with the planning....cause there is soooo much planning involved especially when you are a master planner of stellar events ala Oz) just maybe?

Glad you ladies enjoy the candids!

Dawn

Posted by morningstar on 06/18 at 02:08 PM

Absolutely, morningstar! This would have to be an all out group effort!!  What good is this community of women if we can’t even help put together an event where we can all be in one place?! Cyber is nice...but it does not replace the power of reality!!

It is easy to talk the talk...who is willing to walk the walk?

This site is big enough to pull off an event.  But we have to pull ourselves away from the mirror checking our root growth, to DOING something, to be actively participating in making the a silver revolution.

Our Oz is one amazing lady.  But she can’t possibly be expected to do it all.

Ladies, we have an unprecedented opportunity at our door. Are we willing to actually do what it takes to answer the door & walk through?

Posted by Goldie on 06/18 at 02:24 PM

East Coast, West Coast, there’s a lot in between. And a lot of ladies who would find it just as expensive to go either whichway.

The CA Silver Sisters group is a large one, but I can’t do long distance planning without their involvement. I wouldn’t even know the “cool” restaurants or venues.

The only way this would make sense is to line up speaking engagements and local media. I can do that in New York. I’d rely on the LA gals to do it there. Wouldn’t take much. Provide me with lists, and I’d do the contacting. As Goldie says, wanna walk the walk?

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/18 at 03:40 PM

With enough notice, airfare is about the same anyplace..unless you try to go to Montana or Wyoming…

wow.  the west coast...sun,warm weather, did I mention sun?  Nah, it’ll never work.  Just kidding...I’d be up for flying west

Posted by Thisyear on 06/18 at 04:23 PM

I would be certainly be up to the task of making suggestions for “cool” places to meet.  I used to go to a lot of big sales meetings in those types of places when working for MGM and still have plenty of friends in the biz who could make some “current” recommendations, as well.  Are we talking L.A., Hollywood, Santa Monica?  There are so many different areas of town.  I would put a vote in for the Santa Monica area b/c there is a lot to do and see w/i walking distance.  I might even be able to tap some public relations resources and see about lists for media and such.  Not sure what I can do there for sure but I would be willing to try!

Posted by grayincali on 06/18 at 04:52 PM

Airfare may or may not be the same, but when you land in New York, you take a cab, bus, or train into the city and that’s it. When you land in LA, you better have a car rental lined up for two or three days. Because you don’t get anywhere without driving.

Not ruling it out, and Suzanne, thanks for being on the “team.” Your suggestions and enthusiasm are appreciated. Not to mention your contacts! Why don’t you get together with your fellow Silver Sisters and have a confab?  See what you come up with. Not sure about Santa Monica. LA is, well, you know.  I’m thinking more Wilshire/Hollywood/Beverly Hills/Rodeo/Melrose. After all, the Silvers are Stars! But I’m open to all ideas.

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/18 at 07:15 PM

how about Vegas (baby)?  haha Cheap flights, lots of silver glitter...just a thought...and I hear they are used to conventions and really need the business!

(can’t resist DJ DJ....the rain has finally sort of stopped,it’s Friday night and the weekend is here!~ and I’m just dreaming of a road trip~ after being a jetsetter last week)

I agree about the lack of public transit...NYC is amazing...Monterey is SO beautiful...Chicago is under appreciated...sigh… I just love traveling in the US...then there is New Mexico...another sigh…

Maybe everyone will see pics of Boston soon (hint, hint) and think about going northeast

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I could probably make Boston in mid-may as my husband is likely going on a course then.  We’ll be staying at the Sheraton.

It would be fabulous!

Do you all see how funny this is? Different dates—Mid-May, July, October—different cities. It’s like herding cats!

I will say this—you said the magic word when you said “Vegas,” Helen. Even my husband would come to that. We always have a hoot there. Although, honestly, you have to go where your contacts are, and your support team is. An event is serious business, and it needs a terrific amount of coordination. Any of you who have planned conventions know this.

HowEVER, ladies, have you looked at our Silver Sisters Events page??? The one with the license plates? Cari, who posts as Silver Tresses, has been trying to whip up some excitement for a meet there.  Not an event, just a meet. I could be very interested in that one! wink Just for fun!

Wow, what fun! All of you are so inspiring, just being the real you. Thank you. Excited to see Cindy’s new cosmetic line. I like the idea of being radiant, not necessarily more ‘youthful.’ I have to ask, Cindy, will your makeup be cruelty-free (not tested on animals)? If it is, I will certainly be first in line to use it!

I vote for a west coast Silver Sisters Swingin’ Soiree!

I’m happy to assist in any way I can.  But as for planning events, I’d need guidance.

Anyone out there in the San Francisco Bay Area?  I’m right between San Francisco and Wine Country.  Fantastic weather.

we should plan a calif meet and meet half way up/or down the state...depending on what half you are in!! cool smile

Posted by louann on 06/23 at 03:52 PM

So that puts us where, Louann? Salinas? I’m sure it’s a fine city, but unless we do it in a rather major metro area, we wouldn’t get media, models, or presenters! Something to think about.

Nothing wrong with staging a Silver Sisters meet there, though. In fact, SoCalSilver did—in Monterey. Didn’t get too many takers from the Southern contingent.  So, you see, it doesn’t make any difference if you select a “halfway point.” What truly matters is having an event that is exciting enough to draw people from everywhere.

Although, Barbara, I do love the idea of wine country. We should take over Marisa’s “castle.” But it could end up being just California GGLGers.

when i suggtested a “halfway” i was thinking of the calif ladies the north/south thing...let’s clear up that rivalry ladies!!! a BIG event would have to be san francisco or la or hey san diego has some GREAT weather and they hate la as much as the nor cals too!!! we are sooo “misunderstood” in la.... LOL

Hey Louann,

Me thinks you are right.  It’s time for another California Silver Sisters event.  This one held in a place accessible to as many of our California sisters as possible.  I think halfway up the state is probably inland from San Luis Obispo, but I’m sure we can come up with a place (decided via PM’s) that would be attractive to the most number of Californians.  Let’s see what we can come up with.  Does this mean we’re now going to be the SNO Cal Sisters?  wink
I’ll PM all you SoCal sisters later today for suggestions.  Anyone else who wants to join in the planning and the fun, please PM me so I can add you to our list.  Let’s get this show on the road!

Voting now for an event in NYC—Diana, you name a date and I’ll be there.

Gotta come back when I have time to read ALL the comments, but for now--I vote JULY 2010, VEGAS.  I’m with you, Diana, I would definitely have my fiance supporting that one one wink but we may be getting married next summer so...as long as the weekends don’t conflict…

I’m all for New York as well.

The NY luncheon looked like a blast and you all made silver look fantastic!!

Hey there, Newbie 2—long time no hear! Glad things are progressing nicely. . .yeah, I’m all for Vegas. But it wouldn’t be an “Event,” just a gathering. Ya think I want to work in LV?  Nahhhhhhhhh.  Just play with the rest of you guys. LOL  PS—not only your fiancé would support it, I’m sure Mr. Oz would, too! Let the guys hang out together, while we do the Silver Sister thing.

Vegas is very HOT in July, though. . .End of April, beginning of May is awfully good there.

Just say the word, to LV we go (never been there!!)

Ya never know, Jeanne.  Maybe a really big one! Thinking Fall. Thinking Vegas. Wanna come?

Posted by Diana Jewell on 06/21 at 11:33 AM

i would love to, but vegas would be hard because i work full time - if you are ever in the tri-state area again that would be the best for me - and i would love to meet you all!
