At Long Last Love!

It wasn’t so easy, a few years back, getting a whole “gray” look going.  Oh, it was easy enough to work the textural thing – matte, shiny, metallic, slick – but then you got down to your toes. What on earth would your feet wear? I would scout and scout for silvery shoes, with little luck. I’d find a few metallics, but a really good gray in leather or suede? Not so easy. Last fall, a few designers started doing some nice gray pumps, but they weren’t exactly Sex & the City shoes. You know what I mean, girls.

Well, this Fall, we’re in luck! Big time. Shoes, boots, flats, wedges, you name it, they’ve got it! It’s nice that the shoe world finally caught up to fashion’s stay-with-gray mood.

And now that I’ve gotten my wish for my tootsies with every possible shoe going gray, along comes another big trend for Fall—Jewel Tones! Pretty delicious. So I’m thinking—hey, why play gray all the way?
